Headaches and migraines are one of the most common complaints we treat in our office. They are most common in people sitting in front of the computer for work. The pain often starts in the shoulders and spreads up into the neck, back of the head, and behind the eyes. 

Most people say that they can feel their tension headache start in their neck and shoulders. Previous injury to the neck, especially whiplash, and poor posture are the most common causes of headaches or migraines. 

They can also be due to bulging or herniated discs or from hormonal imbalances or food allergies. Often times, the cause of the headache or migraine is stemming from the cervical spine.
